1. First you need to format a USB flash memory stick(at least 4GB). In order to do so, find the device’s icon in Computer folder, right click on it and select format.
Then select NTFS File System and click start.
2. After you have formated the drive you need to make it bootable. You need a program named bootsect.exe that is located on your windows installation disk in the boot folder. Look in the Computer folder to see your cd/dvd drive’s drive letter.
Click on Start-Run(or Search) and type cmd – don’t press Enter – a program named cmd.exe will appear in the search results. Right click on the program and select Run as Administrator.
Type <your CD/DVD drive letter> : then press enter, in my case H: then enter
Type cd boot then press enter.
Type bootsect.exe /nt60 <your memory stick drive letter>: , in my case bootsect.exe /nt60 d:
Copy the contents of your windows disk to your usb flash drive.
Set the pendrive to be the first boot device on your bios and you’re ready to boot.
